TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Estimator to work for an amazing EPCM client in Vancouver, BC. This position comes with a great opportunity to work on medium to large sized projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of detailed and conceptual project estimates.
  • Conduct estimate reviews and present to management.
  • Develop and maintain work processes, standards, guidelines, and systems.
  • Prepare the Project Basis of Estimate and risk analysis.
  • Review and validate estimate quality, planning, staffing, and training.
  • Establish benchmarks and historical data for estimate validation.
  • Create and coordinate estimate plans with project teams.
  • Provide technical and administrative leadership to the estimating team.
  • Support strategic objectives and initiatives for estimating.
  • Organize and prioritize multiple complex projects and tasks.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
  • Qualifications:
  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficient in effective communication with various audiences, including management, colleagues, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge about process facilities in the Mining Industry is preferred.
  • Capability to learn and apply knowledge of relevant local, state/provincial, and federal/national regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently within time constraints.
  • Familiarity with both Lump Sum and Cost Reimbursable estimating methods.
  • Knowledgeable in both Self-Perform and Construction Management Execution.
  • Understanding of internal Cost Systems, Progressing Systems, and Project Status Reports.
