TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Electrical Engineering Lead role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and validate factory acceptance testing and vendor documentation.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership across projects.
  • Prepare and review estimates for labor, materials, and schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE standards and technical assurance protocols.
  • Conduct and verify electrical distribution system calculations.
  • Develop and review specifications for electrical equipment and systems.
  • Support construction phases with technical expertise and field experience.
  • Resolve issues related to vendor drawings and supplied equipment.
  • Lead electrical engineering efforts on major EPCM projects.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale engineering projects.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Canada.
  • Skilled in managing project schedules, reporting, and close-out.
  • Proficient with high-voltage systems (up to 230 kV) and ETAP software.
  • Strong field experience supporting construction and commissioning.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team supervision capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and stakeholder engagement.
  • Industry experience in mining or mineral processing, including SX/EW.
