Summary

Of Duties

Reporting to the Summer Learning Vice Principal/Principal, the Student Worker is responsible for providing services in any area of the department. The student worker works as a member of a team to ensure the timely resolution of general district requirements, in accordance with applicable regulations, policies and procedures. The position will entail a variety of basic duties to ensure the summer learning program runs smoothly and efficiently.

Required Qualifications And Experience
  • Grade 12 graduation
  • Attending post-secondary in 2026
  • Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions (in English)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable Qualifications And Experience
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Previous experience working with children
Site Specific Considerations

Duties include:

  • Assisting with delivery of programs
  • Assisting instructors on site as needed
  • Assist with basic registration duties
  • Collecting and distributing documents for teachers
  • Photocopying, filing and other clerical duties

    Assisting in ensuring student's safety
  • Supervising students before, during and after classes
