About Us:2 Degrees Travel is a Vancouver-based educational travel company offering transformative study tours for international students. We use Vancouver’s natural beauty as a living classroom, designing immersive programs focused on:

Our program tours are typically 10-14 days and serve school groups from around the world. We partner with non-profits, conservation groups, and community organizations to create meaningful, place-based learning experiences. We are not a traditional sightseeing tour company, we create journeys that develop intercultural communication skills, life skills and opportunities beneficial for post-secondary and overall youth development.

Employment Type:Contract. Compensation Based on Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Group Movement & Logistics
- Manage and escort groups safely between accommodations, activity sites, and community partners
- Navigate public transportation confidently with large crowds in public
- Ensure everyone is accounted for, maintaining group cohesion throughout travel
- Ensure punctual arrivals and smooth transitions
Program Support
- Assist Program Manager in delivering place-based lessons
- Support outdoor activities (hiking, environmental programming, cultural visits etc.)
- Help maintain clear communication with chaperones and school leaders
- Collaborate with supervisors, program managers, and teachers to support programming, cohesion, risk management, and timely intervention when necessary
- Build rapport with students (ages 11–21)
- Model mission, vision and culture in public settings
- Demonstrate leadership, resilience, and global awareness
- Encourage participation and reflection
- Support student well-being and safety at all times
Experience and Skills:
- Group management and facilitation;
Comfortable leading and teaching groups in public settings - Intercultural, respectful communication
- Solution-focused, able to problem solve quickly and collaborate with a team
- Risk management of minors in wilderness and urban settings
- Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and environments
- Confidence in taking initiative, excellent communication and leadership skills
Communication Responsibilities:
- Be the face of the company, comfortable with speaking in front of large groups and communicating with local communities and partners on location
- Be a part of making global stewardship education fun and share 2 Degrees mission
- Interest in Photography/storytelling to capture moments and facilitate social media campaigns
- Collaborate with digital management team – content writer, graphic designer, videographer
- Help gather testimonials
- Help capture emotions, inspirational moments
