* Direct oversight and responsibility for the fair and equitable administration of human resources related matters in collaboration with the Provost, VP People and Culture, and other senior administrators, within the scope of College policy and collective agreements.
* Ensures that the selection, assignment, evaluation, development, and discipline of faculty and staff are congruent with College policy and collective agreements. Works collegially with diverse constituencies and delegates responsibilities and the necessary authority to Division Chair(s), as appropriate.
* Promotes and supports the professional development of faculty and staff within the Faculty. Mentors and coaches direct reports by building and supporting a positive internal environment.
* Represents the College to internal and external community constituencies in an effective and collegial manner. Serves as a College Ambassador at internal and external constituency events. Represent the College on special initiatives or task forces related to the Faculty at the provincial, national or international level.
* Attends and provides advice as requested at all relevant internal and external committee meetings. Represents the College and the Faculty to the Program Advisory Committees of the Faculty.
* Maintains knowledge of current developments in post-secondary education.
* Relevant graduate degree (PhD preferred) in addition to a minimum of ten (10) years of related working experience including at least seven years’ employment with increasing responsibilities in post-secondary education or another relevant sector. Previous post-secondary teaching experience is essential. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
* Experience in strategic planning.
* Experience in the development and implementation of operational plans.
* Proven track record of curriculum development, including applied baccalaureate degrees and post-degree credentials.
* Understanding of the principles and practices of quality assurance, program review and renewal.
* Demonstrated experience in strategic enrolment management.
* Considerable knowledge of and experience with budgetary processes, including the development and administration of budgets.
* Working knowledge of and experience with the administration of collective agreements.
* Experience in a variety of modes of teaching and learning.
* Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work with individuals in a variety of consultative and collaborative processes
* Superior ability to develop, interpret, and apply College, government, agency, and departmental policies, procedures and guidelines, and collective agreements.
* Ability to think and lead creatively and strategically
* Demonstrated ability to develop, motivate and empower a team
* Demonstrated ability to be innovative, and to deliver student-focused engagement programs and services
* Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
