Student Experience Coordinator
This is a part-time, fixed term position (1 year term). The Student Services Coordinator is required to work 20 hours per week, 4 days per week. In addition, the Student Services Coordinator will take (on a weekly, rotating basis) the campus emergency phone.

- Coordinates and assists with all major on and off-campus focused events
- Support key departmental programs such as New Student Orientation, Graduation, Campus Pals
- Lead the promotion of student life events using social media channels, print material, and other forms of appropriate communication to the campus community
- Encourage and support students, student organizations, departments, and academic programs, on events that benefit the student community and align with the school’s mission
- Serves as an advisor for students
- Welcome students in the mornings, assist with student inquiries
- Cultivate and maintain good working relationships with staff, faculty, and students
- Administrative coverage for campus student services based needs
- Holds the emergency phone (rotated between staff members, weekly) to respond to after-hours incidents as needed
- Experience with student services or student support is preferred
- Be skilled in Word, Excel, Power Point
- Have excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Have high attention to detail
- Fluency in English; fluency in an additional language is preferred but not required
- Proven track record and commitment to outstanding customer service
- Flexible approach to work and able to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- A high-energy and enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure, takes initiative, troubleshoots and prioritizes tasks when operating on tight deadlines.
- Personable, persuasive, and a strong influencer, with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships.
- Collegial attitude and able to work collaboratively across teams and campuses
- Entitled to legally work in Canada for the duration of the position
