Secondary Counsellor (1.0 FTE) – Continuing Full-Time with Benefits

Salary: 2024 VSB Teacher Salary Grid (Salary range $59,394 to $106,217)

• Bachelor of Education
• Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology or School Counselling — consisting of a supervised clinical practicum/internship (Minimum 400 hours)
• Teaching experience at the elementary or secondary level is an asset
• Demonstrated skills and knowledge in counselling children and consulting with school staff & parents
• Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills
• Thorough knowledge of programs & services for families in the district and community

  • Recent Graduates to include your Faculty Advisor, School Advisor(s), Practicum or Clinic Supervisor(s) and one or more of the following:
    Principal, Vice principal or most recent previous employer
  • Experienced Teachers to include current Principal, Vice Principal and previous Administrator(s)
