Secondary Math/Science Teachers – TTOC (On-Call)

Apply for the Secondary Math/Science Teachers – TTOC (On-Call) role at Vancouver School Board.

On-Call Secondary Math/Science Teachers will be called out on 50% of instructional days in any month. Only candidates fully qualified in this subject area will be considered.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Education
  • Undergraduate degree in Mathematics/Science and/or successful teaching experience in Math/Chemistry/Biology/Physics at the secondary level
  • Membership in or eligibility to become a member of the Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB)
  • Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service (TQS)

  • Reports/evaluations (not lesson observations):
    • Recent graduates: final practicum reports
    • Experienced teachers: a recent teaching evaluation within the past 8 years
  • At least 3 professional references – email and phone numbers
    • Recent graduates: faculty advisor, school advisor(s), most recent employer, and optionally principal or vice‑principal
    • Experienced teachers: current principal, vice‑principal, and previous administrators
  • TRB (Teacher Regulation Branch) status
    • If it is being processed, provide a screenshot of the application, including the drop-down menu of outstanding documents
