Eyeline Studios is seeking a Technical Workflow Designer to build and implement cutting‑edge workflows that support multiple machine‑learning‑driven projects within our Visual Pioneering Group. This unique role requires a highly technical systems designer who is also an accomplished visual artist.

As a core member of the Workflow Team, you’ll deliver modular, scalable systems for visual content creation that consistently produce results suitable for film production. Your work will bridge research and the creative pipeline, requiring you to apply a refined artistic eye and technical artistry to ensure outputs are photorealistic and meet the aesthetic standards of high‑end visuals.

Your primary focus will be designing practical workflows that integrate both open‑source and proprietary tools. You will actively utilize these systems to create, iterate, and deliver high‑quality visual results. You’ll translate creative goals and artistic inputs into robust, procedural, node‑based systems, documenting them clearly and adapting them to evolving technical demands across multiple projects.

This is a highly technical, hands‑on role ideal for candidates who excel at solving complex system design challenges while possessing the skills of a Technical Artist. You must enjoy working across disciplines and contributing directly to the technical and artistic backbone of next‑generation content creation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Workflow Supervisor and team leads to define artist needs and workflow priorities
  • Design, build, and test new workflows based on creative and technical requirements, following established best practices and standards
  • Ensure workflows are functional, scalable, and flexible enough to be reused and adapted across multiple projects
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing workflows in response to project demands and user feedback
  • Create clear documentation and training material to support artist onboarding and cross‑team understanding
  • Champion usability and continuous improvement, ensuring workflows remain intuitive, artist‑friendly, and production‑ready
  • Support the rollout and integration of new workflows, collaborating with production teams to ensure seamless adoption
  • Apply technical artistry and a refined artistic eye to ensure all system outputs are photorealistic and meet film production quality standards
  • Train and fine‑tune specialized visual creation models using advanced ML techniques (e.g., checkpoints, LoRAs, embeddings, and control‑like mechanisms)
  • Convert cutting‑edge research including new models, samplers, and academic papers into practical, production‑stable tools through rapid prototyping and iteration
  • Engineer complex, scalable workflows that integrate open‑source models and proprietary tools into cohesive, production‑ready pipelines
  • Translate artistic intent into executable technical solutions, developing logic and parameters that enable artists to generate photorealistic visuals from prompts, sketches, or scene inputs
  • Design intuitive interfaces and toolsets that empower non‑technical artists to effectively leverage advanced ML systems
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging technologies, research repositories, and workflow ecosystems to identify, test, and integrate next‑generation visual creation tools such as Deep Beep Meep , Fal, and Grip Tape
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience working in workflow development, technical direction, or creative technology in a production environment
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Comfy

UI, including designing advanced workflows and using or adapting community extensions. Knowledge of writing or modifying custom Comfy

    UI nodes
  • Familiarity with key image creation systems and techniques (e.g., Stable Diffusion, Control Net, IPAdapter, Fine‑Tuning including LoRAs, Flux, Hooks, etc.)
