OVERVIEWAs the Creative Producer / Content Creator at Obakki, you will play a central role in shaping how our brand stories are told visually, emotionally, and s is a creative leadership, content curation, and storytelling role.
You will work closely with Obakki’s Founder, Treana, to translate her travels, artisan relationships, philanthropic efforts and creative process into compelling visual narratives across Instagram, Tik Tok, newsletters, and digital campaigns. Your work will draw from decades of archival footage, ongoing global travel, and real-world artisan relationships to build a consistent and meaningful founder-led storytelling rhythm.
This role sits at the intersection of creative direction, production oversight, and content execution. Success requires a strong narrative instinct, visual sensibility, and the ability to build and maintain a repeatable content engine that balances spontaneity with structure.
The ideal candidate is a documentary-minded creative who values authenticity, understands luxury design and the digital medium, and approaches storytelling with care, curiosity, and respect for the people behind the work. You are equally comfortable shooting, shaping and executing stories and content digitally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Creative Direction & Storytelling- Develop and oversee Obakki’s founder-led storytelling strategy across video, stills, and written content
- Create narrative frameworks for recurring content series such as From the Road, Hands That Create, and Objects with Meaning
- Curate, storyboard, and guide content using archival footage and ongoing global travel documentation
- Identify and shape storylines that align with Obakki’s core pillars:
Artisan, Impact, Design, and Humanity
- Build and maintain a consistent founder-led content engine across Treana and Obakki channels
- Translate real-time founder capture into repeatable, series-based content formats
- Ensure steady weekly output while maintaining narrative cohesion, quality, and brand integrity
- Balance lived, honest moments with light structure to support long-term growth and performance
- Capture or receive raw footage from global travel and ensure it is organized, archived, and production-ready
- Brief, manage, and collaborate with freelance editors, videographers, and creative partners as needed but be prepared to shoot a lot of it yourself
- Review and approve edits to ensure all content maintains Obakki’s visual language, emotional tone, and storytelling integrity
- Step in to edit short-form content when needed, particularly during travel-heavy or fast-turnaround periods
- Collaborate with PR and digital marketing teams to align content with product launches, press moments, hospitality initiatives, and impact storytelling
- Capture original photo and video content of Obakki products in the showroom, warehouse, and in the field with artisans to support social and digital storytelling needs.
