Key Responsibilities- Hosting a live weekday afternoon show that keeps Vancouver moving, entertained, and informed.
- Creating content that feels authentic, fun, and relevant to the target audience.
- Building real connections with listeners on the phones, text, and socials.
- Owning your digital presence with creative posts, videos, and behind‑the‑scenes content.
- Being a visible face of the station at station events, remotes, promotions, and concerts.
- Working with the programming and promotions teams to bring fresh ideas to life on‑air and online.
- Delivering amazing customer service both internally with staff and externally with clients and listeners.
- Staying plugged into the music, lifestyle, and local stories that matter to our listeners.
- At least five years of major market on‑air experience.
- Passionate about radio, content, and connecting with people.
- Proven ability to engage and grow an audience with personality and relatability.
- Strong understanding of social media and how to use it for better brand engagement.
- Must be extremely motivated and a self‑starter.
- A collaborative team player who’s creative, and willing to go the extra mile.
- Comfortable being out front at public events, client functions, and on camera.
- Knowledge of Wide Orbit and Music Master preferred.
- A valid class 5 BC driver’s license (or equivalent).
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
