As a Men’s Designer
, you’ll transform creative ideas into real-world products that inspire movement and confidence. Partnering closely with the Director of Product
, you’ll bring innovation to life across categories in the men’s division, with a strong foundation in woven bottoms
. You’ll immerse yourself in understanding the DUER customer — through market research, store shifts, and trend exploration — ensuring every design solves real problems and elevates the everyday experience.

• Collaborate and lead: Partner with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life — from sketches through to production approvals.
• Stay curious: Continuously seek out insights from consumers, culture, and industry trends to inform design decisions.
• Elevate performance: Push boundaries in performance lifestyle design while maintaining DUER’s signature aesthetic of style and versatility.
• Grow your craft: Build your design portfolio through hands-on experience, experimentation, and a genuine passion for apparel that moves people.

Role

Seasonal setup

• Work closely with product leadership to create seasonal themes and key concepts
• Identify key new styles, color and wash direction

Design

• Present cohesive apparel concepts that are rooted in solution-oriented thinking
• Partner with the merchant and design to the planned assortment
• Prepare and present market research that thoroughly supports the concepts
• Create technical drawings
• Collaborate with the development team to create tech packs
• Work with cross functional partners to achieve desired styling and fit
• Prepare and present new concepts at key gate meetings with stakeholders across the business
• Source, design and develop trims for each style

Line Launch

• Partner with merchant and sales channels to ensure there is clear product knowledge and support the education of all staff on new products

Accountabilities

• Design on time to deadlines
• Present relevant research and support design initiatives
• Prepare presentations for all key gate meetings

Reporting to

Requirements:

• 8+ years working in apparel industry
• BA/BFA/BS in design or equivalent
• Denim experience a benefit
• In depth understanding of adobe and microsoft office software
• 3D software knowledge a benefit
• Detail oriented
• Loves working to calendar timelines
• Passion for problem solving
• Champions collaboration

Compensation:

Salary range is $90, depending on experience and qualifications
