Project Coordinator

40 hrs/week | Annual salary range: $55,000 - $70,000

Job Description

Working as part of a team of fire protection professionals, you will help the company meet client expectations while supporting the overall profitability of the branch.

In collaboration with the Project Team, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating all activities related to project completion—from initial concept through installation.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Project Team in ensuring adherence to project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Preparing all required documentation for successful project execution.
  • Participating in regular project meetings and preparing meeting minutes, logs, and schedule updates as provided by the team.
  • Creating charts, schedules, and other planning tools under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Supporting the Project Team with administrative tasks and processes.
  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of all safety documentation.
  • Helping monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and track contract changes.
  • Collaborating closely with vendors and maintaining strong business partnerships.
  • Managing, organizing, and maintaining all project correspondence.
Success Factors
  • 1–3 years of experience in construction project coordination
  • Willingness to learn standards and codes for fire protection systems (asset)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Valid driver’s license and own a vehicle
