Make an impact within our Indigenous Services team as a Project Coordinator with our Capital Projects and Infrastructure Consulting team. Responsibilities
Support the project team to deliver owner’s representative consulting engagements specializing in capital and infrastructure projectsMonitor and support the design, delivery, and administration of client projectsAssist with budget and financial management to ensure adherence to funding constraints and requirementsDesign, develop, format and proofread professional reports, proposals, presentations, funding applications and client communicationsAttend project meetings, documenting action items and key decisions to develop client relationships and ensure the delivery of exceptional client serviceDemonstrate an understanding and respect for Indigenous cultures, traditions, and governance structures, integrating these considerations into project planning and executionWillingness to travel to rural and remote locations, adapting to diverse project demandsSkills and Experience
Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related fieldMinimum one year of experience managing or coordinating capital or infrastructure projects as an Owners Representative/Project Manager, including planning, design, or delivery phases. Equivalent experience in construction, engineering, architecture, or community development is acceptableAt least 2 years of experience in project and construction coordination, specializing in capital and large-scale infrastructure and community development projects.Excellent communication skills across written, verbal, and facilitation formats, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and build positive relationships in a professional environmentExperience in construction project management, including technical knowledge of construction methods and building systems is an assetProven ability to balance workload of several projects at the same time, coordinating tasks and priorities for different managersExperience working with Indigenous communities is an asset.
