About the ProjectCross Fraser Partnership (CFP) is a Bouygues Construction Canada Inc., Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas Canada Ltd., Pomerleau BC Inc. and Arcadis Canada Inc. general partnership that has been selected to collaboratively deliver a new, eight-lane immersed tube tunnel that will replace the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99. The new tunnel will have three vehicle lanes and a dedicated transit lane in each direction, with a separated active transportation corridor for cyclists and pedestrians.
Position OverviewAs part of the project team, the Scheduler will report to the Project Controls Manager and play a key role in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project schedules. The Scheduler will collaborate with various project disciplines to ensure accurate planning, progress tracking, and timely reporting to support the successful delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and maintaining detailed resource- and cost-loaded construction schedules for heavy civil construction projects.
- Working with project teams to provide input for baseline schedule and monthly updates, while also maintaining open communication with them when delivery schedules change to allow them to manage their time more effectively.
- Incorporating scope changes to the schedule.
- Preparing schedule updates/revisions as well as monthly progress reports.
- Monitoring project progress against baseline and providing delay and time impact analyses.
- Supporting project teams with planning and scheduling during preconstruction, design, construction support, and construction phases.
- Working with the Virtual Design team to develop 4D schedules.
- May assist in leading junior staff through assignment tasks.
- Reviewing purchase orders and subcontract schedule status and providing management with input on subcontract performance.
- Responsible for assembling data for schedule updating.
- Conducting and assisting in performance measurement and associated schedule trends.
- Providing analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues.
- Assisting in procedure development and implementation.
- Updating and producing scheduling management reports.
- Performing remedial schedule risk analysis.
- Assisting in tracking corrective actions.
- 1-7 years experience in scheduling
- Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineer
- Construction Experience
- Project work would be an asset

The expected salary range for this opportunity is $100,000 - $140,000
. Please note that salaries may vary depending on the candidate’s experience and geographical location. Listed compensation is exclusive of bonus and in addition to our extensive employee benefits program which is listed above. Availability of certain benefits may vary based on the specific job role.
