Position: Competitive Intelligence Specialist
* You’ll prioritize our Design & Manufacturing business but may be asked to support other industries (AECO, M&E) as needed
* Build relationships with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Strategy teams, becoming their go-to-POC for competitive insights
* Build and maintain actionable and effective materials to support competitive sales cycles including battlecards, competitor profiles, talk tracks, newsletters, and customer-facing assets
* Support our active win/loss program - using external interviews with customers as well as internal CRM data - and performing analysis to determine why it matters and what it means for your stakeholders
* Contribute to ad-hoc and formal CI research requests from a variety of stakeholders to support product development, or other business initiatives
* Academic background and/or internship experience in Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, Business strategy, SaaS Sales, etc
* Exceptional communication skills – you’ll be writing reports, newsletters, ad hoc updates, etc or presenting to a variety of stakeholders daily
* You need to be experienced and comfortable using a range of legal and ethical data sources including generative AI tools, Klue, social media, financial reports, and other open-source research methodologies to answer a variety of questions
* Exceptional time and project management skills – you’ll be asked to multi-task, juggle competing priorities and manage multiple deadlines. You’ll be expected to maintain autonomy over your bandwidth and be comfortable saying “no”
* Understanding of at least one of B2B Sales, Marketing or Product development
* Willingness to travel for Autodesk and Industry Events (~1x quarter) – you’ll use these events and interactions with Autodeskers, Customers and Industry SMEs to collect feedback and build your competitive perspective
* Self-starter who is comfortable taking ownership of your role – treat is as a small business that you’ll cultivate over time
* Prior academic experience/interest in Competitive Intelligence, Market Intelligence, Product Marketing, Business consulting or Sales Enablement
* Experience leading a research project from initial kickoff to complet ion. These requests will vary in scope and complexity, and you need to be comfortable mapping what’s possible with existing commitments and bandwidth
* Comfortable conducting interviews with internal (Autodeskers) and external audiences (Customers)
* Competitive Spirit – you’ll be helping Autodesk successfully navigate a rapidly evolving competitive landscape. We need someone who is excited to be part of that effort
* Formation universitaire et/ou expérience de stage en marketing, veille concurrentielle, stratégie commerciale, vente de SaaS, etc
* Excellentes compétences en communication : vous rédigerez quotidiennement des rapports, des newsletters, des mises à jour ponctuelles, etc. ou ferez des présentations à diverses parties prenantes
* Vous devez être expérimenté et à l'aise avec l'utilisation d'une gamme de sources de données légales et éthiques, notamment les outils d'IA générative, Klue, les réseaux sociaux, les rapports financiers et d'autres méthodologies de recherche open source pour répondre à diverses questions
* Excellentes compétences en gestion du temps et des projets : vous serez amené à mener plusieurs tâches de front, à jongler avec des priorités concurrentes et à gérer plusieurs échéances. Vous devrez faire preuve d'autonomie dans la gestion de votre charge de travail et être à l'aise pour dire « non »
* Compréhension d'au moins un des domaines suivants : ventes B2B, marketing ou développement de produits
* Disponibilité pour voyager pour Autodesk et participer à des événements industriels (environ une fois par trimestre) – vous utiliserez ces événements et vos interactions avec les employés d'Autodesk, les clients et les PME du secteur pour recueillir des commentaires et développer votre perspective concurrentielle
