You will lead and be accountable for the development of complex integrated bids across a broad range of TELUS' capabilities (IOT, Data, Voice, Applications and Wireless).

As part of the TELUS Business Solutions organization, the Solution, Pricing, Proposal & Contract management team within the Enterprise and Public Business team is an advocate for our customers and are the driving force for building long-lasting, profitable customer relationships, with a commitment to understanding and supporting their business outcomes.

What

You’ll Do
  • The Complex Solutions Consultant is a customer-facing sales support role requiring the ability to interface effectively with our Enterprise and Public Sector customers as well as internal TELUS stakeholders in order to orchestrate and enable the creative development of large complex solutions that result in winning propositions to our clients, that address their business needs, yet are profitable and support TELUS’s business goals and imperatives
  • The role will require engagement with the account team and customers in order to analyze specific business needs and recommend suitable complex solutions to resolve them. You will be accountable for the development of opportunity pursuit plans by leveraging industry and customer insight to ensure TELUS has a winning sales strategy. Success will hinge on providing best-in-class business consulting expertise and solution development leadership to the account and stakeholder teams within a prescribed corporate Solution and Governance framework
  • The Complex Solutions Consultant will be responsible for multifaceted deals typically in the $2M-$25M range, which will vary in complexity
Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • Renowned persuasion skills which will be used to construct a convincing business case; express it clearly and gain consensus around decisions, plans and actions in relation to both the customer and TELUS stakeholders
  • The ability to speak the language of stakeholders at all levels, including the “C-suite”
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and maintain effective relationships across TELUS and other organizations
  • You are great at time and internal resource management, able to plan, coordinate, and monitor a significant number of functions and tasks simultaneously
  • You are known for both tactical and strategic approaches
  • You are effective at assessing and articulating competitive position vs TELUS’, can speak confidently to TELUS’ ability to support sales strategy, recommending alternatives as appropriate
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in successful consulting, selling or marketing of complex telecommunication or Information Technology solutions, ideally in a customer facing role

Great to haves:

  • Technical knowledge of telecommunication services and solutions
  • Financial and risk analysis, business case development experience
  • Knowledge/certification in ITIL principles
  • Knowledge/certification in PMP or related project management skills and experience
