OverviewWe're looking for a Sales Manager to join our Business Development team and lead a high‑velocity group of SDRs and BDRs. This role is open to candidates across Vancouver and Toronto.
Responsibilities- Manage and grow a high‑performing business development team.
- Exceed sales targets and take over one of our existing teams.
- Identify areas for improvement and coach and develop dynamic teams.
- Recruit team members for ongoing and future headcount needs.
- Hold team members accountable to sales metrics and KPIs.
- Work closely with Sales Leadership and cross‑functional teams.
- Collaborate with business operations to analyze results and improve systems, processes, and programs.
- Coordinate with stakeholders in each sales segment for consistent alignment.
- Participate in leadership of the Hub office as required.
- Other duties as required.
- Demonstrated success as a top‑performing sales person and team leader/manager.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience developing sales teams through regular 1:1s, continuous training and coaching.
- Experience in fast‑paced, high‑growth technology companies.
- A track record of building high‑velocity sales teams.
- Extraordinary communication and organizational skills with the ability to gain buy‑in and motivate a team.
- A competitive and growth mindset, especially for process improvement and new technologies such as AI.
- Sales experience and training at a leading tech/IT company.
- Experience at a SaaS company.
- Experience with cold calling and cold outreach.
- Strong understanding of sequencing and cadences (Salesloft/Outreach).
Compensation is a key component of Clio’s Total Rewards Program and includes:

The expected salary range for this role is $82,600 to $124,000 CAD. The expected new‑hire commission range is $44,500 to $66,700 CAD. Commissions are uncapped, allowing the opportunity to earn beyond the stated amounts.
