Business Development Manager in the apparel and custom tailoring industry.

The
Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving market expansion, managing key customer relationships, and supporting the setup of Canadian operations.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities:Establish and develop business relationships with key North American apparel manufacturersEngage with independent tailor shops in Vancouver, Seattle, and additional North American marketsExecute effective sales strategies to achieve assigned targetsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service and communicationCommunicate issues, challenges, and updates to headquarters in Guangzhou, ChinaIdentify and resolve customer complaints and issues promptlyOversee the setup of the new Canadian office and manage all related company registration processesThe successful candidate has:Proven work experience in Sales or Corporate Buyer roles within leading North American companies such as Indochino or LululemonStrong understanding of sales principles and customer service practicesExcellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to apply them strategicallyExperience working independently and managing multiple prioritiesStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent ability to meet deadlinesCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive base salary plus uncapped commission structureComprehensive benefits packageRemote but must be located in Vancouver, BCCandidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
