Position Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for researching, analyzing, and applying complex accounting guidance to ensure compliance with IFRS. This role supports financial reporting, new accounting standards adoption, complex transactions, and provides technical accounting guidance to cross-functional teams

What you will be doing:

• Research and interpret accounting standards and prepare technical accounting memos for complex transactions, including revenue recognition, leases, equity, business combinations, and impairments
• Develop, maintain, and update accounting policies and procedures
• Provide technical guidance and interpretations to accounting, finance, and business teams
• Monitor financial statement for compliance of all policies

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong focus on technical accounting and financial reporting
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience applying IFRS to complex transactions, including revenue recognition, leases, equity, business combinations, and impairments
• Experience preparing and reviewing technical accounting memos and supporting the development of accounting policies
• Ability to provide technical accounting guidance and partner effectively with cross-functional teams
• CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting designation required
