Financial Accountant

About the Role

We are conducting a search on behalf of a large, global manufacturing client for a Financial Accountant to join their team in South Surrey, BC. • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
• Prepare and submit financial reports and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with GST/PST and payroll regulations
• Utilize ERP systems and advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Collaborate with junior accounting staff on day-to-day operations
• Support payroll processing (ADP) and month-end close activities
• Meet tight deadlines and reporting requirements across global entities

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP essential)
• Experience with ERP systems and ADP payroll preferred
• Knowledge of Canadian tax compliance (GST/PST)
• CPA designation not required, but considered an asset
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities

• Competitive salary: CA $85,000 - CA $100,000
