Senior Project Accountant

Base pay range: CA $80,000.00/yr - CA $95,000.00/yr. PATH Developments has a 20-year history of development across Western Canada and Washington state and has delivered over 12,000 residential units, along with several commercial, industrial and office projects. • Handle full cycle accounting for several projects
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of quarterly investor reporting packages
• Prepare monthly updates to proforma forecasts
• Coordinate monthly budget reviews by updating actuals and working with development and construction managers to update, document follow-up and action items
• Monitor project cash requirements and act as the point of contact for project capital calls, distributions, loan draws, and repayments
• Document, monitor, and liaise with interdepartmental teams regarding project milestones (LC tracking and release, warranty periods, deposits, prepaids)
• Implement and manage internal controls, business processes, and procedures for project accounting
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, marketing, construction, and development teams to ensure timely completion of interdepartmental tasks (job cost tracking, equity and bank financing, budget approvals)
• Support senior management in annual budgeting and quarterly reporting; assist with special projects and ad hoc requests
• Involvement in transaction support, research on accounting and tax issues, and mentoring junior staff

• CPA designation and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
• Minimum of three years of accounting experience
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Sage Intacct is a strong asset
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams
• Strong task prioritization, ability to manage competing deadlines, and high attention to detail
• Growth mindset and proactive development; comfortable growing with the company
