Aboutthe Role
This senior property accountant role is based out of our Vancouver offices.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our team. You are a professional property accountant ready to take the next step and work with a commercial portfolio. You thrive working within deadlines and providing strong financial reporting for your assigned properties. You identify issues, provide strong analysis on monthly reports, and continually seek opportunities for process improvements.
You also embrace sharing your knowledge and participating in training for new accountants.
- Complete monthly reporting and assist your Accounting Manager with audit processes.
- Optimally coordinate the integration of new properties into the accounting workflow.
- Minimum 5 years of dynamic property accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry.
- Ability to work to financial deadlines.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Post‑secondary education in accounting.
- CPA designation completed or in progress is an asset.
- Strong communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Yardi software.
Approximate salary range for role $80,000.00 to $90,000.00.
