Commercial Property Accountant

We are looking for a motivated accounting professional who has experience working in property management. This is a wonderful opportunity that offers hybrid working in the heart of Downtown Vancouver!

About the Client
Our client, one of Canada’s leading fully integrated real estate companies, is on the hunt for a Property Accountant. The successful candidate will work alongside other property accountants and will report to the manager on site in a fast-paced, exciting, and professional work environment.

About the Position

• Completes the day-to-day transactions – general accounting/property accounting
• CAM/Bank reconciliation, supporting AR and collections
• Budgeting for recoveries, Year end adjustments
• Support to Annual audit process

Job Requirements

• 2+ yrs. of accounting within real estate
• Experience working on a portfolio of enclosed shopping malls and/or retail spaces
• CAM reconciliation experience
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Accounting or related field
• Strong computer literacy, particularly MS Excel
• Working knowledge of Yardi is an asset
• Self-starter, demonstrates strong ownership, analytical and problem-solving skills

Benefits & Compensation

• $70,000–$85,000 + Bonus + Paid overtime!
