Position Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced and fast-acting Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department team. The RN will provide rapid assessment and treatment to patients with a wide range of critical and emergent conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills, quick judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid patient assessments on arrival and triage based on severity and urgency.

• Administer medications, IV fluids, oxygen, and ACLS interventions per physician orders.

• Respond to trauma codes, cardiac arrests, stroke alerts, and other emergency situations.

• Perform critical care procedures such as wound care, splinting, EKG interpretation, and airway management.

• Collaborate with ED physicians, lab, radiology, and other departments to ensure timely diagnostics and interventions.

• Document interventions, assessments, and patient outcomes using the EMR system (Epic/Cerner preferred).

• Provide emotional support and communication to patients and families during crisis situations.

• Follow all ED protocols, infection control precautions, and patient safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license (OH or Compact).

• BLS ,ACLS ,PALS, NIHSS required &TNCC preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience (required).

• Strong triage, critical thinking, and crisis management skills.

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

• Experience with Epic EMR systems required.
