• Responsibilities include the design of HVAC systems that meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements based upon all relevant information including the geographic location of that customer.
• Develop processes for system installation including work instructions. Train employees on installation and troubleshooting.
• Research and design HVAC system to meet customer and regulatory requirements for the module including chassis interface as necessary.
• Consult on HVAC system and equipment design for a wide range of projects working with design engineers, project managers, dealers, customers and/or product development engineers.
• Design testing procedures and control equipment as needed.
• Communicate directly with customers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications and operational environment.
• Communicate with inter-company engineering staff to assure HVAC system designs that meet customer expectations.
• Develop installation process and associated work instructions for designed HVAC systems.
• Analyze HVAC systems and associated equipment when necessary to solve functionality problems/issues and optimize system performance.
• Serve as project leader when required on HVAC system design efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or 3 to 5 years of HVAC related work experience.
• Experience with software design systems;
  Solid Works preferred.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Project management skills.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in writing.

• Able to demonstrate reasonable and reliable attendance.

• Must be able to access and navigate to each department and/or facility, including customer locations when necessary.
• Occasionally required to crouch and kneel; must be able to transport up to 15 pounds of work-related materials.
• Must be able to maintain any required licensures and/or certifications.
