Job DescriptionPlans, implements, and evaluates instruction in Engineering curriculum designed to address a wide range of skill levels. The Engineering program emphasizes hands‑on learning, critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation. Through applied engineering coursework and project‑based learning, students gain both technical competence and confidence to pursue college, career, or workforce pathways aligned to their goals. Helps students make appropriate choices and encourages parental involvement.
Prior successful classroom instructional experience preferred.

Job Requirements- Possess or be eligible for valid state Department of Education license/certificate appropriate for position
- Ability to successfully teach courses in the Ohio Department of Education Engineering pathway
- Collaborate with district leadership and colleagues to support and advance the engineering program
- Recruit and retain students while promoting program opportunities and successes
- Develop and maintain curriculum, instructional timelines, and course documentation
- Maintain a safe, organized, and effective instructional laboratory environment
- Willingness to assist in coaching the high school robotics team (after school) during the winter sports season (Additional stipend available)
- Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal
- Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test, etc.)
- A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment
- Complies with drug‑free workplace rules and board policies
- Keeps current with technology and other workplace innovations that support job functions
- Training and/or experience in behavioral management techniques
- Bachelor degree preferred.
