High School (9-12) Intervention Specialist

Van Wert City Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our collaborative high school team. This flexible position may include direct instruction in a more self-contained setting, inclusive/co‑teaching support in general education classrooms, and/or work‑study and transition programming, based on the strengths of the selected candidate and student needs. The Intervention Specialist will deliver specially designed instruction aligned to IEPs, collaborate closely with general education teachers, special education colleagues, and related service providers, support positive behavior and student regulation, and ensure compliance with IDEA and Ohio Operating Standards. VWCS is a district where educators are supported, voices are valued, and meaningful work with students is both encouraged and celebrated.
