The Manifestor keeps track of all incoming and outgoing products and assists in all related functions in record keeping requirements and inventory.

• Scans pallets to accurately capture proper case count, weights and dates.
• Documents numbers and codes per pallet and creates a label for the pallet.
• Ensures all paperwork is completed in accordance with established time frames or record keeping requirements.
• Verifies pallets and labels are correct and sent to the right destination.
• Participates as a member of the team in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies.
• Coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members, attends appropriate team meetings, fosters strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues.
• Is familiar with Simmons’ established operating systems and maintains support of these systems.
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.

Be able to efficiently work in a plant environment. Light to moderate physical effort required. Standing, reaching, moving, lifting up to 50 pounds. Work on feet in a cold, hot, noisy environment. Constant repetitive motion of hands, talking, use of vision and hearing.

Std waterproof gloves, hearing protection, chemical resistant apron & gloves, face shield, reinforced toed footwear.

Preferred experience in shipping and receiving, working with large moving equipment.

Preference for poultry or food processing organization.

Basic math skills, read/write/communicate in English, obtain and maintain a pallet jack and forklift license.

High school diploma/GED or one to three months related experience or training.

Communication skills & decision quality. Must have the ability to make good decisions and communicate effectively with others and leadership team.
