Licensed Practical Nurse - Med/Tele (3300) FT Nights

Work in Mercy’s Med Surg Service Line, providing care across eight specialty units for patients undergoing medical and surgical interventions. The role encourages cross‑training and offers a strong foundation in diverse clinical skills for both new graduates and experienced LPNs.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; comparable education/experience considered with licensure.
• Maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Certification: one or more of the following may be required based on unit or required timeframe:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules
  • BLS via ACE or course completion within 30 days of hire
  • IV Certification within 1 year of hire
  • Other unit‑specific certifications as required.
