Medical Device Sales Representative

This assigned territory position is responsible for prospecting new surgeon opportunities within an existing team environment, earning business and retaining existing business. Requesting and subsequently verifying that all implants and instruments are prepared, ready and staged for surgery cases.

• Support surgical cases through surgery coverage, case preparation, transportation logistics
• Aggressively prospect surgeon opportunities in assigned territory while having the ability to cover surgery cases
• Meet and exceed sales $ and / or unit quota
• Create valid sales pipeline with concrete next steps leading to closure
• Use Company systems and reporting requirements to record sales pipeline opportunities and activity
• Understand product features and benefits and be able to articulate value against the competition
• Meet with Company management as required to review metrics and progress
• Be a Zimmer Biomet advocate and effectively use resources to close business
• Successfully collaborate with support resources

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years B2B sales
• 2 years surgical device or medical sales preferred
• Strong negotiation and selling skills
• Track record of developing and executing sales plan
