Description
We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and dedicated part-time Sales Leaders! The Sales Leader's primary responsibility is to provide outstanding selling and customer service to enhance store productivity and profitability. This role involves offering product recommendations, working proactively with customers, and serving as a role model for retail best practices. The focus is on sales, service, and relationship-building. Additionally, the Sales Leader shares product knowledge, reads and implements store communications, and manages daily tasks assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, including opening and/or closing the store.
Responsibilities also include inventory management, conducting product displays, stocking, housekeeping, and assisting with stockroom duties. The Sales Leader collaborates closely with the corporate store team and reports directly to the Store Manager.
Essential Job FunctionsRequired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Ability to open and close the store at least three times per week and work two weekend shifts per month.
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years in retail, sales, or customer service.
- Strong customer engagement and selling skills.
- Effective communication with customers and staff.
- Adaptability, feedback receptiveness, and tech proficiency.
- Ability to access store cash and assets responsibly.
- Assist in training new employees and understanding store policies.
- Stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform fine motor tasks regularly.
- Occasional work at heights, lifting heavier weights, and driving or traveling.
- Continuous communication with customers and team members.
- Exposure to various environmental conditions and scents.
This is a regular, part-time, hourly position, non-exempt under FLSA, working 10-28 hours per week on average.
