We are seeking a dedicated, Recruiter / Care Manager to join our team ... one who is experienced, professional and trustworthy, able to take charge from the start, a quick learner, positive-minded, organized, professional, compassionate, and well-spoken.
We are a growing agency and looking for someone who can multitask while performing the duties of recruiting and care managment. This is a part-time position to begin with that will grow into full time. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office) are a must as well as being willing to do some out of the office activities.
- Must be seeking long-term employment.
- 1-2 years experience in an office environment
- One year of experience and/or working knowledge of healthcare industry preferred.
- LPN+ or degree in healthcare industry preferred, though knowledge and experience will be considered alternatively.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation with current insurance and a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
- Display a high regard of compassion and professionalism while having the ability to communicate and interact with many levels of individuals (clients, caregivers, family members, other professionals).
- Must have excellent computer skills (Microsoft office) and be able to learn new applications/platforms with ease.
- Must pass a national/expanded criminal background check. (Do not apply if you do not meet this qualification as this is a State requirement.)
- Must possess impeccable follow up and attention to detail and be able to exercise initiative, problem solve and apply sound judgment.
- Able to supervise, assess and evaluate care providers and advocate on behalf of clients and families.
- Manage recruiting and interviewing of caregivers.
- Provide needed training and education to staff in agency office, client’s home, via telephone, or other methods.
- Lead and manage caregiver orientation
- Maintain reports, complete data entry,
- Participate in personnel evaluations for caregivers.
- Be responsible for agency weekend phone for weekend and after-hours calls as needed.
- Oversee general office operations as needed.
- Complete assessments for each new client.
- Develop and implement written care plans.
- Assign and schedule Caregivers to clients.
- Manage call-offs to ensure client coverage.
- Regularly communicate with clients, families, designated client representatives.
- Supervise client care provided by agency personnel.
- Perform scheduled and non-scheduled in-home client support visits.
- Conduct reassessments as needed.
- Serve as a resource for clients and families, facilitating client education.
- Document supervision of client care, employees, and other pertinent matters.
- Ensure client records are current and properly maintained.
- Provide direct support to owner/s and team, including such tasks as planning, coordinating, and producing work that requires a high level of discretion and confidentiality; manage schedules, calendars and appointments.
- Other additional responsibilities as needed/required.
NOTE: Position is Part-Time with possibility for Full-Time in the future.
