As a Structural/Bridge Engineer, you will lead the planning, design, and reporting for transportation, site, and underground infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities include designing roadways, bridges, drainage systems, and utilities; preparing detailed plans; developing geometric layouts; ensuring all work meets QA/QC standards and industry requirements; managing project schedules, budgets, and resources; preparing cost estimates; mentoring junior staff; and coordinating with engineers, designers, and clients.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in Civil 3D or Micro Station for creating and reviewing CAD drawings are required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of civil engineering experience (DOT experience preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to lead complex infrastructure projects
- Indiana Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with drainage analysis and design
- Advanced skills in Civil 3D and/or Micro Station
- Ability to support QA/QC and maintain project profitability
