Calibration Engineer Hybrid Powertrain

Overview

AVL Iberica offers a job in Spain (ES) as several possibilities for Calibration Engineers within our growing workgroup that include:

• System validation engineers: Follow a validation plan to verify the correct behavior of powertrain components when submitted to a failure
• Powertrain debug engineers: Assist production / end-of-line / dealerships and calibration teams to maintain prototypes and customer vehicles fully operational
• Calibration data management: Assembly, validation and industrialization of calibrations related to powertrain components
• Generic calibration engineers: Plan and perform a wide range of tests within engine bench and vehicle on engine base calibration / emission / diagnostics or driveability
• Calibration pilots: work together with junior and senior calibration engineers to ensure the proper development of the calibration (technical lead - overview of all activities)

Mostly gasoline hybrid platforms within our current projects

Calibration of internal combustion engine and high voltage components

Depending on selected role

• Education:
  
  Mechanical / Automotive / or similar Engineering degree
• Provided understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronics
• Competences acquired on ETAS INCA, AVL Concerto, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Creta, DDT
  2000;
  Matlab/Simulink or similar tools required
• English and Spanish required
• French is a plus
• Minimum 1 year of previous calibration experience. Preferable in hybrid systems
