Pediatric Nephrology Nurse Practitioner (NP) Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital (MFCH) & Boston Children’s Health Physicians (BCHP) Valhalla, NY (20 miles north of Manhattan)

Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital (MFCH) and Boston Children’s Health Physicians (BCHP) are seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our collaborative and expanding Division of Pediatric Nephrology. This position will work closely with four pediatric nephrologists to deliver comprehensive kidney care to children across the Hudson Valley. Salary approx. $120,000 - $130,000, negotiable based on experience.

Join an established pediatric nephrology team providing comprehensive care, including management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis, and kidney transplantation. The NP will practice in a highly collaborative, physician-supported environment with strong nursing and ancillary support.

Provide outpatient care for pediatric nephrology patients, including:

• Chronic kidney disease
• Hypertension
• Glomerular disorders
• Post–kidney transplant follow-up (as appropriate)
• Participate in inpatient consultations and follow-up care in collaboration with attending physicians
• Assist with dialysis-related care (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis), depending on experience and training
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other multidisciplinary team members
• Participate in patient and family education
• Contribute to quality improvement and clinical program development
• Optional involvement in clinical research and academic activities

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner eligible for New York State licensure
• Pediatric NP certification required (PNP-PC or PNP-AC)
• Prior pediatric experience required
• Experience in nephrology or complex chronic care preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills and commitment to team-based care
