Customer Service Representative

Founded in 1889, The Kensico Cemetery is the largest burial site in Westchester County, New York, and operates under the state's Rural Cemetery Act. Strategically located in Valhalla, NY, along the New York & Harlem Railroad, it was historically designed as a resting place for residents of both Westchester County and New York City. In 1953, it introduced Sharon Gardens, a section dedicated to members of the Jewish faith.

Kensico Cemetery and Sharon Gardens are the final resting place of numerous prominent figures in business, entertainment, philanthropy, politics, and sports.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Customer Service Representative located in Valhalla, NY. The role involves assisting families with inquiries related to burial and memorial services, addressing customer needs with compassion and professionalism, and ensuring a seamless and respectful customer experience. The Customer Service Representative will also be responsible for scheduling services, maintaining records, and communicating with internal departments to support client needs efficiently.

• Experience in ensuring high-quality Customer Experience and managing customer interactions effectively
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
• Proficiency in using office software and record-keeping tools
• Previous experience in a related industry (e.g., funeral services, hospitality) is advantageous
