This is a postdoctoral fellow in the Psychology Child and Adolescent Division. The position serves as a clinical provider, researcher, and teaching/supervisor assistant within the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior, with a significant role in the Psychology Division, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the psychology internship program.

• Perform systematic research, collaborating on departmental research projects and conducting independent research.
• Review articles prepared by others.
• Supervise psychology interns and teach didactics and seminars weekly to medical students, interns, and residents on various mental health topics.
• Provide clinical psychotherapy services to the community, specifically children and adolescents in various clinics within MCG/AU.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

• Educational Requirements: Ph.D. or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to complete work and meet deadlines.
• Willingness and ability to work with research animals.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases, or willingness to learn.

Shift: Days/M-F (work outside normal business hours may be required for an exempt level position). Salary commensurate with qualifications within the established range (generally minimum–midpoint). Recruitment period: 1/27/26 – Until Filled. Benefits may include health, dental, and life insurance;

All selected candidates must successfully pass a Background Check prior to starting. Depending on duties, a credit check for Positions of Trust, purchase card usage, and motor vehicle reports for driving may also be required.
