Position SummaryThe Control Center Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the Safety & Security Exacq Vision and Wave video surveillance equipment on a continuous basis. The Supervisor dispatches security team members to respond to any concerns of suspicious activity, all alarms and codes, and for any other requests made for security presence. The Supervisor is responsible for all telephone calls, monitors and maintains various Safety & Security software, and maintains restricted authorized access points.
Serves as Supervisor to staff.
High School Diploma preferred
Experience- At least one (1) year experience in security-based role required.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to organize, plan and direct security shift work.
- Good decision-making skills.
- Provides leadership to staff by leading by example.
- Good time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to work effectively with access control computer programs, including entering pertinent information.
- Ability to operating telephone system and radios.
Work is performed in a restricted control center area with low light. Position requires prolonged sitting and observing multiple security monitors for extended periods of time. Must have good regular and peripheral vision with the ability to determine all colors. Will encounter patients, visitors/customers dealing with stressful situations and must be able to handle such situations. Occasional hours on evening shifts and weekends and will be required to report to work during emergency situations.
