Responsibilities

Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. Some managers also lead Departments, whose responsibilities include managing assigned Systems, such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other managers.

Guest Service Department Manager’s responsibilities may include ensuring crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are executed effectively, that all service staff are trained in service procedures, and that the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas are organized for optimal service.

Kitchen Department Manager’s responsibilities include delivering great quality food to customers, ensuring food is safe and fast, controlling food cost, and ensuring all kitchen staff are trained in production procedures, including new menu items.

People Department Manager’s responsibilities include hiring qualified crew, training them well, and scheduling them to meet sales and profit goals. This manager also ensures crew get off to a good start and are recognized and motivated throughout their tenure.

Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. We’re looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who enjoy working in the famously fast‑paced McDonald’s environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate owned and operated restaurant.

Qualifications

Previous managerial experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.

Minimum age of 18 years.
