An established multi-doctor small animal practice in Georgia is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to guide its medical team and help shape the direction of the hospital’s clinical and operational success. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician or an ambitious veterinarian ready to advance into a leadership position with strong mentorship and professional support.
The Lead Veterinarian will play a key role in fostering a positive, team-oriented environment while ensuring that every patient receives exceptional care. With access to advanced diagnostic tools and a dedicated support staff, you’ll have the resources and autonomy to provide high-quality medicine and build lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor the medical team to uphold the highest standards of care.
- Collaborate with practice management to achieve clinical, operational, and financial goals.
- Guide and support veterinary and support staff development through ongoing training initiatives.
- Oversee patient care and medical quality within the practice.
- Maintain communication with clients and ensure a compassionate, professional experience.
- Balance clinical duties with leadership responsibilities, contributing to a culture of trust and excellence.
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent).
- Active veterinary license in Georgia (or ability to obtain).
- Strong clinical skills with interest or experience in leadership.
- Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
- Commitment to continuous learning and development.
