Job specification

• Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU or other critical care settings.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, manage life-support equipment, and ensure proper documentation of all care activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and ongoing care needs with empathy and clarity.

Candidate requirements

• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN) required; BSN preferred.
• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a critical care or ICU setting.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
• CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified period.
