JOB LOCATION : Main Campus

DEPARTMENT: Recovery Room PACU

SCHEDULE: Full Time,  with call

Under the direction of the charge nurse, the PACU Staff Nurse provides nursing care for the PACU patient according to established standards of care, guidelines and hospital policy and procedure. Possesses knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to age of patients served.

• Current nursing licensure in Georgia
• PACU/Critical Care experience preferred
• CPR required. ACLS & PALS required within one year.
• CPAN preferred
• Ability to understand and adhere to job responsibilities/limitations
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
• Ability to read, interpret and report pertinent data
• Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
• Ability to interact diplomatically with patients, families and health care team member
