Camp Rock of Georgia, Inc., a faith-based nonprofit in Valdosta, GA, is looking for a team member to help us take the next step. This will be a dual/focused role, responsible for both fundraising/donor relations and marketing and brand management. Job Description s:
Marketing Advancement Officer.
The Marketing Advancement Officer will be responsible for developing and executing integrated fundraising and marketing strategies to support the organization's mission and growth. This role requires a dynamic professional who can cultivate donor relationships, manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive revenue and awareness.
- Fundraising and Donor Relations
- Manage a portfolio of current and prospective donors, cultivating relationships and soliciting major and smaller gifts.
- Plan and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies, including annual campaigns, grant submissions, corporate partnerships, planned giving, and special events.
- Support the CEO and Board Members in their donor engagement and solicitation efforts, providing necessary strategies and materials.
- Oversee donor stewardship and recognition programs to ensure ongoing engagement and retention.
- Marketing and Communications
- Develop and execute a strategic communications plan to elevate the organization's visibility and ensure consistent, compelling messaging across all platforms.
- Create and manage content for print and digital material, including the annual report, e-newsletter, press releases, website, and social media.
- Coordinate media interest and serve as a key brand spokesperson and representative for the organization in public forums.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather impact stories and ensure all marketing efforts align with organizational priorities and brand guidelines.
- Experience in the field of Marketing/Donor development and/or Education.
- Strong strategic thinking, project management, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficiency with email, marketing platforms, and social media tools.
- The ability to collaborate with the team and maintain deadlines.
- A deep passion for and commitment to the organization's mission.
- A major plus for this job would be serving as Youth Pastor for Redland Baptist Church.
To work in consultation with the Executive Pastor, Senior Pastor, and other Church Staff to grow and develop a vibrant and strong youth division with the Redland Baptist Church. To be a role model for young people to walk and mature in the Christian faith. To teach God s Word through the different ministry opportunities in the church, such as Wednesday night, Sunday morning, and Sunday night.
PositionDetails
This is a full-time position, and in-office hours are required. These will be set by the Executive and Senior Pastors. The position allows for compensated work outside the employment of Redland Baptist Church so long as this does not interfere with pastoral duties in any way. If interested in both positions salary would be based on both positions.
