Lieutenant - Fire Services - Promotional Only QualificationsPossession of, or ability to readily obtain, a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated. Level of competency associated with completion of specialized training in field of work in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education. Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties and must currently hold the rank of Sergeant within the department.
Must have Fire Instructor I, Hazmat Technician and Fire Officer I. Fire Officer II and Structural Fire Control Instructor is preferred or completed within 12 months.
