DEPARTMENT: MATERIALS MANAGEMENT
SCHEDULE: Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift
Position SummaryThe Materials Data Analyst is an essential position in the Materials Management/Supply Chain department. This role will work diligently to analyze and optimize SGMC Health in the areas of materials management and inventory data to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with healthcare regulations. The Materials Data Analyst will collaborate with multiple departments throughout the health system to improve procurement and inventory management processes.
EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field required within two (2) years of date of hire.
Experience2+ years of experience in data analytics, materials management, or supply chain analytics (preferably in a healthcare setting) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with ERP systems (such as Pro CLick, Lawson, Oracle, or SAP) preferred.
- Understanding of healthcare supply chain operations preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple departments.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Most work will be completed in a business environment, office setting. There is a possibility of irregular hours depending on work load and volume. Extreme mental effort under busy conditions and constant change (stress). Ability to assess problems, make decisions, and be innovative. May spend time in warehouse setting, so the ability to stand, sit, bend, push, pull, and lift moderate weight of 30lbs will be required.
