The Field Technician I will work closely with Site Managers, senior technicians, contractors, and remote support teams to assist with field activities, troubleshoot issues, and support safe, reliable site performance. This position requires comfort with physical, hands-on work as well as the ability to grow into independent operational responsibilities over time.
This will include maintenance of large internal combustion engines, biogas pipelines, 3-phase motors, electric manure pumps, electrical wiring, PLCs, and industrial flares.

- Operate basic equipment and tools (forklift, skid steer, hand and power tools), or demonstrate willingness to learn
- Perform general field support and labor tasks to keep construction activities moving efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized worksite
Operations Phase (Post-Transition)
- Travel to MEW facilities to perform routine and preventative maintenance
- Support ongoing operation of anaerobic digesters, biogas systems, and related equipment
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues on-site or with remote support
- Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment such as pumps, motors, piping, valves, and related systems
- Help maintain spare parts, tools, and inventory as needed
- Communicate effectively via email, text, and phone with internal team members, site contacts, and contractors
