Job Summary:
Georgia Gwinnett College is now accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in Criminal Justice/Criminology in the School of Liberal Arts for the academic year ). The posting will remain active for AY25-26 hiring (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Part-Time faculty positions are semester-based and report to the Department Chair. Courses may be delivered face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended formats. These positions are on an as-needed basis and require additional time outside of class for written feedback and meetings with students.
Part-Time faculty may teach in Fall, Spring, and/or Summer. Classes are offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends.
A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications- Terminal degree in the teaching discipline
- 1-year college-level teaching
- Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching.
Strong commitment to undergraduate education, student engagement, and service to the college and community. GGC is an institution that values innovative teaching, advising, and mentoring (advising and mentoring are expected of all faculty).
