The Department of Elementary Education within the School of Education at GGC invites applications for Part-time Faculty positions in Elementary Education. The successful candidate will have knowledge of best practices in elementary classrooms and experience supervising teacher candidates in field experiences. This position is to create a pool of interested candidates from which the department may draw as courses become available.
The posting will remain active for AY25-26 hiring (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Part-Time faculty positions are semester-based and report to the Department Chair. Courses may be conducted in face-to-face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats. These positions are on an as-needed basis and may require additional time outside of class for written feedback and for meetings with students. Classes are offered in the fall, spring, and/or summer semesters with morning, afternoon, and evening scheduling, including weekends.
A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.

Terminal degree in the teaching discipline
1-year college-level teaching
Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching.
