Job SummaryThe selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the candidate's area of expertise.
Based on the recent Proclamation:
Restriction on Entry of Certain Nonimmigrant Workers (H-1B), VSU will not be sponsoring any new H-1B visa petitions until further notice.
Candidate may be responsible for teaching courses such as Intro to Mass Media, Intro to Electronic Media Production, Computer Mediated Communication, Studio and/or Field-based production classes, and News Production classes. These courses may be taught in traditional (face-to-face), online, or in hybrid formats. Other classes in the Mass Media Program may also be assigned based on candidate’s skill level and area of expertise.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting

Supervisory positions require training in FMLA and Worker's Compensation.)
